London, U.K., 29 June 2020 – Runecast is pleased to announce today that it has been granted a US Patent (No. US 10,621,234 B2) for its technology in its flagship Runecast Analyzer solution for data centers.

Optimum resilience, performance, and security of enterprise ICT systems increasingly require automation due to the growing complexity of those systems. Runecast Analyzer uses a disruptive solution to proactively scan ICT systems to identify all known issues that can be prevented within that system. Runecast Analyzer gathers and parses information from publicly available knowledge bases, then uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human expertise to translate it to machine-usable data. This data is then used to analyze configuration and logs within the ICT environment, operating fully on-premises.

Aylin Sali, CTO and Co-Founder of Runecast, stated:

“We are extremely proud to be granted a US patent for our invention. We have always done our best to enable IT admins of mission-critical systems to clearly 'see the future' in terms of potential issues and be able to proactively remediate them, so this patent for our solution helps validate what we hear daily from our customers – amazement that such a tool exists.”

Runecast AI Knowledge Automation (RAIKA) aggregates knowledge, analyzes it, and provides this as automated and proactive guidelines via its patented Rules Engine directly to IT administrators in real time. In late 2019, Runecast was awarded a €1.9 million EU Horizon 2020 grant to expand Runecast Analyzer’s capabilities to additional platforms, acknowledging its value to future-focused and mission-critical organizations.

Mr. Sali added:

“Runecast is built by admins, for admins. Our customers talk with us, which also helps us identify new tech trends before they might be common knowledge. They inform us of new integrations and complex IT needs in real-time, which helps us to provide them the best possible real-time solutions to their problems.”

Organizations already using Runecast Analyzer to mitigate service risks and ensure maximum efficiency and security within their data centers include (among many others) Chevron, Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, de Volksbank, Fujisoft, Scania, Avast Software, the NHS, and the German Aerospace Center (DLR).

In addition to monitoring and reporting on configuration issues, Runecast Analyzer provides automated compliance checks against VMware and AWS security hardening guidelines and common security standards such as CIS, NIST, PCI DSS, DISA STIG, HIPAA, or BSI IT-Grundschutz, with more standards added regularly to its secure on-premises (and even offline) capabilities.
